Demetrios

Royal drama where Greek heritage meets American glamour

Demetrios is pure “New York Opera” with a twist Greek Goddess— this is a brand for a bride who not only wants to be beautiful, but wants time to stop when she enters. Under the tact of designer Demetrios James Elias this fashion house does not compromise on the “wow” effect; their dresses are known for their architectural structure and weight, which gives a sense of security and luxury.

The most specific characteristic of Demetrios, by which you immediately recognize him, is “transformation”: they are masters of 2-in-1 suits. Many of their models (especially from the prestigious Platinum line) have removable royal tugs (overskirts) or detachable sleeves, allowing you to have a dramatic, voluminous look in the church princesses, and at the party, the same outfit turns into a seductive, tight-fitting “mermaid” silhouette that emphasizes the curves.

Demetrios doesn't skimp on materials — they're known for using heavy Mikado Satin, which stands perfectly smooth and sculptural, and for its iconic “tattoo lace” effect, where the lace blends so invisibly with translucent tulle on the backor décolleté to make it look as if it were drawn directly on the skin. Unlike more minimalist brands, Demetrios often uses crystalsSwarovski and dense 3D floral applications, which do not sparkle inexpensively, but create a deep, precious glow under the lights. These are dresses with a strong internal construction (the fitted corsets are extremely strong), which means that despite the weight of the fabric and ornaments the figure remains upright, and the waist visually narrowed to the extreme.
